This model is of a small master bath that originally had the tub along the wall where the shower is shown. The toilet was just in front of the tub, and a wall separated the tub and toilet from the twin lavatories.
The owner requested that we not have a door, enlarge and provide a seat in the shower. Also requested was the "Barn Door" so as to incorporate an existing art piece (shown) onto the front of the door.
This plan allowed us to position the shower head so as to spray away from the opening, eliminating the need for a door. An alternate was to use 3/8" clear glass instead of the glass block. The "Barn Door" was used to allow for the customer's artwork to be incorporated on the top portion.
